A big Thank You to for helping Tonka, our 15 month old Bull Arab

It began four months ago when Tonka yelped out in pain after chasing a soccer ball in the backyard. The emergency vet diagnosed him with a pulled muscle and demanded rest. Weeks and hundreds of dollars later, Tonka’s condition did not improve. He became very quiet and the limp in his right hind leg progressed with slight movements causing him to yelp out in pain. Tonka had great difficulty in sitting, lying down and getting up. In the last two months, we began to notice Tonka had developed a roach back and had very weak hind legs.

Luckily my vet was able to pick up on Tonka’s symptoms of a pinched nerve. She prescribed Tonka anti-inflammatory which did seem to work. Tonka seemed a bit better however he was till in pain. So with her suggestion, we decided to try chiropractic treatment. We found ‘s website and after reading the success stories of so many other dogs in similar conditions, we decided to give him a go. Tonka was given his third and last treatment only two weeks ago and already I can see a vast improvement in his condition.

We are very happy with the results and appreciate the support and assistance from . It has been heart breaking to watch our dog that is so young and spirited to be in so much pain. Words cannot express of how relieved and thankful we are to see him recovering so well. The most crucial point that we have learned is that prevention and perseverance are the key. Injuries such as these could be prevented by taking measures around the home, like blocking off the stairs, keeping Tonka away from slippery surfaces and unfortunately keeping Tonka off his favourite couch. So thank you for opening our eyes and thank you for the amazing work you have done with Tonka!!
