SUBJECT: Doc Jamieson – Canine Chiropractor
148 Fernhill Drive, Willowvale 4029
I first heard about Doc Jamieson’s canine chiropractor treatment by another client of his I met whilst on an outing with my Rottweiller at the Broadwater, Southport on Saturday, 28th January 2006. I had taken my dog named Summa for a car ride to get out of the house because she had not been anywhere for quite awhile (and she loves the car rides).
Summa (a 4 year old, with a weight of 57kg) is a very large dog and unable to exercise because of problems with her bone structure and subsequent lack of movement, particularly walking. Summa had already had 2 crucial ligament procedures done on her (costing $2,800 each operation). So you can see I care about my dog.
I telephoned Doc Jamieson the same afternoon after obtaining his mobile phone number from the Parkwood Pet Centre and made an appointment for the next day so that he could assess her.
During the next 3 months Summa has received a total of 14 manipulations, including acupuncture treatment. The last 12 treatments have been at Doc Jamieson’s home, where his equipment is set up in a permanent area under cover adjacent to the house. It is purely set up for animal treatment only. Doc Jamieson also has his own dogs.
My dog has improved immensely in her ability to move more freely since visiting Doc Jamieson. We travel 26 km one way from the Gold Coast to his premises at Willow Vale. I will continue to follow his advise with the treatment offered as required. It is a shame the pet specialist at Underwood did not offer or refer me to this type of service 2 years ago, particularly after the second operation.
I have no hesitation in referring Doc Jamieson as a caring professional person in treating animals, particularly my own dog. I have seen many people with their dog/s come and go whilst I have visited Willow Vale for my dog’s appointment with Doc Jamieson. These same clients have known him longer than I have and they speak very highly of his ability to cure their dog’s complaint to their satisfaction.
I look forward to the day Summa is no longer in pain and able to exercise freely. It is only because treatment available was not known to me all this time that the recovery process is naturally taking longer.
