Dear Ms Ramsey,
I am writing this letter to you on behalf of my husband and myself over concerns we have in regard to a letter sent by yourself to
Mr. D. Jamieson at 148 Fernhill Drive, WILLOWVALE. 4209
My husband is the owner of (we think) a beautiful Australian Cattle Dog Blue named Storm who is just 3 years old. On the 28th April, 2005 we had the unfortunate happen when Storm experienced a spinal embolism that left her paralyzed in the hind section. We immediately took her to the vet who in turn sent us to Underwood to a Specialty Clinic. After months of travelling to & fro from Underwood, to attend a physio, Storm was able to stand on her own but could not walk without help, as she had no use of her left hind leg whatsoever.
By word of mouth we were told about Doc and his ability to communicate with animals, so on the 1st August, 2005 we went along to the Parkwood Pet Centre and met him. We have been visiting Doc with our dog now twice a week and the improvement in her is nothing but remarkable. This man was so concerned about Storm’s problem that even took her into his own home so that he could treat her on a more regular basis over a period of 5 days.
What my husband & I fail to understand with regard to your letter is how Doc, who advertises as a CANINE Chiropractor & Muscle Manipulator can possibly upset the system as I feel that the Canine description can not possibly be mistaken for anything else but just that – CANINE.
We feel that if these penalties are applied to Mr Jamieson, and he ceases his business, it will not only affect us, but many other people that we know visit him for treatment to their animals also.
We ask that you please reconsider your letter and allow Doc to continue treating the ANIMALS.
